We made a quick trip to Melbourne to take three of our alpacas into the ring for the 2007 Australian National Show and we were delighted with the results. Canchones Balencea ET was awarded 1st place in the Intermediate Black Female class. Canchones Balducci ET was placed 3rd in the Junior Black Male class. Canchones Ferragamo ET won a 3rd place ribbon in the Intermediate Black Male class.
The two males (Balducci and Ferragamo) went straight from the showgrounds to the Mariah Hill Quarantine Station and we expect them to arrive at our gate on the 1st of December. Balencea will stay behind to be mated to one of Canchones excellent males.
Ferragamo is co-owned with Dita and Willem Alblas and we are all excited at the prospect of using him over our best black females.
