Amaretto, the New Zealand National Alpaca Show Champion Senior Male Huacaya in 2004, is an upright, very well-covered, densely-fleeced male. His soft, crimpy fleece is reflected in his histogram statistics and his success in the show ring.
His bloodlines drive that superb fleece and solid confirmation. His sire, ILR Ppperuvian Auzengate, has over 740 progeny on the ground and those progeny have won more championships than the offspring of any other sire.
The following statistics are from a fleece taken from Amaretto when he was just over three years old.
