Alex was a slow starter as he was born in a year when Gay & Mike Moller (Lallybroch Alpacas) had mostly female cria. He really missed the rough and tumble of
growing up with a bunch of other boys. Eventually, the Mollers sent him away to 'boot camp' at a friend's farm where he could have a bunch of young guys to hang out with.
As he was white, and the Mollers were concentrating on breeding coloured alpacas, they pretty much ignored Alex and took all their more unusual animals to the shows. It was only when his half-brother won a Championship ribbon, that Gay commented that Alex's fleece was even better than the boy who had won the Championship that day. The Mollers decided to have another good look at Lallybroch Alexander and the rest is history.
The latest fleece stats that we have for Alexander are from when he was a little less than four years of age.

We look forward to using Alex over more of our females in the future. If you are interested in using Alex or purchasing females mated to him, please contact Gay or Mike Moller at Lallybroch.
